Has anyone sold your teens used items here or bought from here? I'm thinking about cleaning out my girls closets and taking the stuff here??
my SIL took some things there and unless its a very current style you wont get much or anything for it! and she had a TON of name brand clothes and shoes that i was sure she would of gotten alot for but didnt. i would still take it and see
They are pretty picky, almost had my daughter in tears. She left her clothes and came back expecting some money and they didnt buy anything and gave her a coupon! They were all name brand (mall stuff, not target) and all recent, but she is a little on the heavy side, so I guess they dont 'need' bigger clothes? They werent rude or anything, I think it just hurt her feelings. It was a big deal for her to even try, so not to make anything hurt. Maybe you will have better luck!!
Oh Thanks for the feedback. I don't thinks it's worth my time then. I'll just give it to my girlfriend who's daughter is smaller than mine, that way at least I'll know it's getting used. How are their prices for buying used items? Can I hit the mall on sales and get as good of a deal? I usually only pay about $10 or less for sale items from Hollister, Abercrombie, Aero and A&E. I've found out going to Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Ross I can get the girls Roxy shirts, shorts etc. for next to nothing...$3 or $4 each (you know how expense those things are at PacSun). I'm probably just better off doing my usual sale and discount store shopping.
DD did find some good deals.... some stuff with tags still on them! It was hit or miss, so if we were in the area we would stop but not make a special trip for it. She is 20 now, so it was a few years back, may be different now?
In Cary, in the Crossroads shopping center. It's on the Toys R Us side, beside the office supply store (can't remember which one), opposite side from Old Navy/Michaels. It is used clothing and accessories for teens.
You might check prices on EBAY, depending on the brand, you'd be amazed at how much some of the clothes go for.
Yes Yes, it's Once Upon a Child for teens. Plato's Closet, OUAC, and Play it Again Sports are all owned by the same company.
When we are in that area we stop by to see what they have and have found some good bargains. I think sales at malls and other places are just as good, if not better. Sherry
