There are two people advertising the PS3's, one says $2500 and one says $3000!! I can't imagine paying that for a gaming system! Needless to say, my child will be deprived of one for this Christmas!
I heard the purchase price was 699.00, price gouging at it's worse. These ads should be removed by the webmaster.
Who knew standing in line paid so well? Let's see, an $1,800 to $2,300 markup, divided by how many hours waiting to get one of those things? I might come out of retirement for that.
Better yet one that conceals a gun barrel and firing mechanism ... never bring a knife to a gun fight if you can help it
The trick is to NOT let it get to a close range encounter, which is the benefit of ranged weapons .... He who has the longest ranged weapon has the advantage .... especially if he gets a hit or two with that weapon.
this is a gaming system right? why don't they just pick one of the games, and have a playoff for who gets the systems. Best gamers get the box, sucky ones get to go home crying. Sounds good to me.
OK, you have a point there, BUT .... You just get them later from a distance when they least expect it and you get a free game system to boot, unless they drop it too hard as they fall ....
Hey there, Sonny, are ye lookin' fer a good canin'? Show some respect fer yer elders, boy! (and how do you know about my cane collection?)
Buy your kids $100.00 worth of books and do something for their SAT scores!!!! Video games have done more harm to the mental, physical, and educational health of this country than terrorists ever could and as parents we condone and facilitate the damage. That being said I hope they get resold for 5,000 dollars each and then I hope Sony sends so many of them to the US that after Christmas they are being sold for half price!!!
I couldn't agree more, Rob. I did buy my son about $70 worth of books at the beginning of last summer. At first, I wondered whether the money was well spent, because he didn't show much interest in most of the books. But, as the summer wore on, i "caught" him reading some of the informative but not-necessarily-so-interesting ones I bought him. Kids thirst for knowledge but sometimes need a nudge (shove?) in the right direction. No-video-games-bigger-than-a-gameboy-in-my-house Snuff
Heard a guy got arrested at Target in Garner. He had paid around 15 homeless people to stand in line for 2 days to get the game system and had plans of selling them all on ebay  When the people hired started causing a distrurbance outside, Target found out what was going on, called in the police and the guy doing the hiring was arrested. What the charges were, i don't know. This info came from one of the Mgrs at the store. My son was smarter, he wanted the Nintendo Wii and started trading in stuff over a month ago to get enough credit to get it the first night available free
