My kids have to see an orthodontist SOON. Please give me all of your recommendations - 1 of mine is very afraid of going to the dentist, so I need a very patient and kind orthodontist please! Your dentist should be able to give you recommendations. My kids go to Riccobene and Associates, who have recommended Dr. Devlin in Clayton. He alos recommended a guy in Smithfield, but thats too far for me. If you type in 'Orthodontists' in the "SEARCH' at the top of th page (in gray) you'll get LOTS of threads in which we have discussed this topic. Lots of comments and referrals. Good Luck!
I am currently going to Dr. Macon for Orthodontic treatment. He and his staff are awesome! I am 22 and just now finding the money to get braces, they have made everything wonderful so far! Everyone up there is just so nice and pleasant to deal with. I go to Riccobene as well, however, when I asked for a recommendation for Ortho treatment, the hygienist recommended Dr. Macon to me, and for some reason to everyone else they have recommended Devlin. I am more than happy with Dr. Macon though!
Dr. Devlin is awesome! My daughter's teeth look great! And so do all of her friends that have gone there, and that is a big deal after you pay thou$ands to do orthodontic treatment because not every orthodontist does a great job. My daughter has never over several years had to wait more than 5 minutes to go back, and the office is friendly.
Dr. Wiley and Dr. Perrine in Goldsboro. It's farther, but the prices were lower and they did a great job.
Had the consult with Dr. Devlin yesterday.....wow....what a nice guy and how cool is his office with arcade games for free while you wait?!!!
:hurray: Smart choice! :hurray: We have at least one more to put through braces in the next couple of years and we will be returning. Can't say enough good things about him or his office!
Here's another shout out for Dr Macon. I just got my braces off yesterday (I am 43 YO). I hate to brag, but I think my teeth look great!! I think I even look younger!
