DH is on the phone right now with Monoca - Mafia Man told me to have whoever checks the plumbing to call him - geez, have never had a homeowners claim before in my life - what else can go wrong - been a hard few months. probably gonna need a GC too, carpet is ruined, they are gonna have to go through the sheetrock to repair, etc

Leaky Drains can cause so much pains

Depends on how bad it has leaked. You may be able to have Servicemaster come out there to dry and clean your carpeting and as for cutting a hole in the wall to get to the drainpipe, I will try to keep the cut as small as possible so you may only need a good sheetrock/plasterer come out to fix the hole. I'll see you tomorrow and we will get to the bottom of this one!!!!!

Please remember that the correct spelling on my last name is Monaco. Just like the country. Anyway, her problem should be all set. She will need to have the wall repaired but not a biggie. Glad to help out a fellow 40/42 er. Remember,- When there's a job to get done, I cannot be slow, so it's hip hip hip and away I go!!!!!!!!!!!!

you beat me to it, battery was dead on the laptop - sorry about the spelling:oops: Anyway fellow 4042ers, gotta say Monaco rocks - he was great and i am so appreciative, the man truly knows his stuff and takes care of the job efficiently and is extremely fair in the pricing - he has my business for life or as long as he wants it. Also gotta give a heads up to my and our fellow 4042er insurance man, he was here at my home this morning and was also wonderful - gotta love our 4042 family:hurray: Now, gotta get an estimate on subfloor and carpet and hopefully all will be set.

Hey JAM, gotta leave the hole in the wall for about a week so the sheetrock will dry out but will definitely give your DH a shout out - pm me your number if you don't mind, you may have before but i have no idea where it is. Thanks so much.
