Annual Fall Festival Come on out and join us on Friday, October 19th from 5pm to 9pm for Polenta's Annual Fall Festival. This festival is loaded with fun games and activities for kids of all ages!! Cotton Candy, Popcorn and Snow Cones!! Armbands are only $10 and include unlimited games, general store craft, 2 cake walks and 2 tattoos. The armband does not include food, pumpkin voting or spin the wheel. Tickets are only .25 each!! Take a run through the Inflatable Obstacle Course. Visit the Chick-Fil-A table for great food and Spin the Wheel. Check out a Deputy Sheriff's car. Stuff a Bear for only $15.00 with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Polenta. In addition to great food and games you can buy a wonderful craft, done by your child, at the general store. Check out all the Great Pumpkins and vote on your favorite - you can also bid on the one (or more) that you want to take home for your fall decor!! And don't forget about the raffle prizes. Buy your ticket for only $1.00!! Be sure to bring your camera, because you never know what special guests may drop in for a visit!
Koo, too right! We had a blast at the festival, and then went to the Oyster Festival in Brunswick County. Seems so unusual that one could have an oyster roast, and it feel like it's 80 degrees. The way it used to be was that one had a roast int he fall, it was chilly (even downright windy and cold at the beach), and one found the TPZ (temperature perfection zone) where you could hold one beer can and it remain cold, and the other side towards the cookers where the food would stay warm. The oysters were gooooood!
