SMITHFIELD-- The Johnston County Association of Educational Office Professionals has named Nancy Nettles, Principal of Polenta Elementary School, as the county's Administrator of the Year. The award was bestowed at the professional organization's annual Bosses' Night on Thursday, May 19. Janice Privitte, SIMS (Student Information Management Systems) operator at Clayton Middle School, was named Educational Office Professional of the Year. In addition, the Association grants an annual scholarship to a deserving student. North Johnston High School student Tim Huchinson was the winner of the James H. Ellerbe student scholarship.
