We have an in ground pool with a small area of cement all around the exterior. I am looking for something to use as mulch or a fill in for the rest of the area inside the fence. I need something that is not going to tear the lining of the pool if it happens to get in it and fairly inexpensive.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

What about using rubber mulch or pea gravel?

Triangle Landscape supplies has a triple shredded pine bark mulch that is very fins and compacts down very well. This means it is a finer particle and probably wouldn't be big enough to tear a pool lining and the fact that is compacts well means it probably will not get kicked around and end up in the pool.
