Does anyone know of where in the Cleveland Area you can get a pool membership? We currently belong to Lions Gate in Clayton and want to cancel it to save money as they are getting higher and higher. You have to pay $12 for each visitor you bring along!

We cancelled ours at Lions Gate at the end of the summer. You're right, it's too expensive. We used to go to Turner Farms also.
Anyone know how to get in touch with the people at Turner Farms> I did a google search called the numbers listed but both parties said they are not affiliated with them any longer. My goal is to see if I can get a summer pool membership somewhere else as Lions Gate is costing $1020/yr and we mostly only utilize it in the summer for the pool with the kids.
I just stopped by at the beginning of the summer & picked up a form. I paid on the same day I turned the form in. They assigned my family a membership number & the kids were swimming at the pool the next morning. I didn't ever get the phone number there. The life guards were all really nice. I signed my son up for swim lessons & the coach/lifeguard was really good with the kids. There were also swim teams for the kids. The cost was nothing like the cost you paid at Lion's Gate. I believe we also had 5 free passes for the kids to bring friends. I can't remember for sure ... but I think it may have been $2 to bring a friend after that.
Clayton Swim Club Older pool but a great family atmosphere--not all the bells and whistles of Lions Gate. Never crowded Very affordable. You must have two member references to join--but you can probably find some people you know who are members.
yea if they would tell you who the members are. I never could find 2 that were members i guess being a loner isnt good
Victorias pond was closed I heard that the health department had to close Victoria Pond down for health issues last year. I doubt they will reopen this year, but who knows. They were $600 a year and $10 for guests. They have nothing there other than a cement and water for the pool!! Nothing for the kids (except previous managers built a play area for younger kids). they have a snack bar that was never opened. All the numbers at the intersection was taken down. They were open to the public but then stated memberships available?? Not sure how that would work. Most private clubs do not allow public in without a member?! Mcgees pool has a list of about 70+ people waiting to rent/buy a membership. Very nice pool!!
I think it was $450 last year. They usually put out a sign with a contact number around April. I believe the pool opens Memorial day weekend and closes after Labor Day.
Victoria Pond - $500 We were members since the year after the 'grand opening'. When the previous managers moved back to SC, in my opinion, the pool went down from there. We signed a contract stating the amount of money and everything from rules and regulations, etc. Well, when the new management took over they did not send out a thing at the beginning of the season like in the past several years. We received a newsletter with contact numbers, etc. They 'called and left messages' with the current members at the time of their takeover. It was a good thing we did not get the call though. After hearing how it was ran and then shut down by the health department mid summer I would have been highly upset letting my kids swim in a pool that was not clean and the Health Department had to shut them down!! YUCK!! Mcgees is a very nice pool. You just have to put yourself on the waiting list NOW!!
