I'd heard about this earlier in the week. As soon as I heard, the "seems strange in a bad way" radar lit up... I fear that we haven't yet heard the worst of this.
They haven't said much about her roommates other than they have questioned them. I wonder if they bothered to report her missing? What I've heard is that the mother reported her missing after not hearing from her for several days. Seems to me the roommates would've been worried too, especially since she's pregnant! .
This is one heckuva story already and with so many missing pieces. Some reports claim that she was about to testify in some sort of big trial. Her family claims she was raped and pressed charges. Some say she was nine months pregnant, others report she is/was not due till mid-February. Bottom line, just gotta pray she and baby are alive.
They just announced that she is dead and they're looking for her buried body somewhere in Onslow county. The accused sargent is prime suspect and the popo have not been able to question him because he's hired 3 lawyers and is not talking at this time. They say a key witness came forward with information.
whose the liar now? Thats a shame. Even tho she had a medical condition, if this really happened to her where she said she was raped and no one believed her. She must have felt alone. I hope she and her baby are together and in peace now.
News conference going on right now. NCIS SA Cicarelli and Sheriff Brown of Onlow County. Former roommate, Durham, enroute back from California to Cp Lejeune. Durham is not a suspect. Suspect is identified as Corporal (E-4) Cesar Lauren. Female victim is believed dead/ buried in Onslow County.
...the key witness is associated somehow with the key suspect who is the marine accused of sexually assaulting the victim. oh, and said suspect is on the run. not for long pal, not for long.
this confuses me... why do they believe? Did someone tell them to look ____? Or did they actually find a body and are waiting for verification it's her? So sad
