Mastweiller! Just got another puppy. He has the colorings of a Rotweiller but the size and girth of a Mastif.

So cute! I hope he's gentle with the baby though. He could probably knock him over with just a big lick :)

I take care of two Giant Mastiffs that can literally look into the kitchen sink without raising their paws off of the floor. Very sweet and lovable IF they know you. I'm so glad these two like me, cause one bite could take an entire arm - sincerely. The only scary things about these guys I know is:

    1) when you are standing on their deck (very high, but huge) and they move at any pace faster than a walk (which is all the time) the deck shakes like it's gonna collapse (and it is very well built and sturdy looking). When they run in the back yard, it reminds me of standing in the pasture when the horses were frolicking - you can feel the ground vibrate!

2)if you don't have a towel to wipe off drool, which is pretty slimy stuff - and do it frequently, as there's plenty of it - and that drool hits the floor - Wipeout! You could slip and break your asssk anyone - lots of slobber form a Giant Mastiff.

Wow those are big dogs lol, I will stick with my pugs and Chihuahua lol.
I love the big dogs, but with out the fence done, can't have one here.

Saw some Husky's yesterday and made me miss the one I had up in MI when I was there, except mine wasn't as well behaved as the ones I saw. Mine would run the first chance she had, and when it snowed there was no chance of keeping her in a 8 foot fence.

We love Big Dogs but not the drool.

We have begun a new exercise program w/ Big Woof Woof, he gets out of the car at the top of the driveway and jogs the rest of the way to the house and usually takes a poop break along the way. (it's a Natural area). We have a long driveway so he gets a good jog 2x a day.
