Anyone ever eaten at this Steak House in Raleigh? If so, do you recommend it? Thanks

They claim you can cut each and every filet they serve with a butter knife. It's called their Sterling Silver Guarantee, and at Prime Only Steak & Seafood if your steak isn't tender, juicy and delicious, you'll get your money back. Here, Midwestern grain-fed, aged Angus beef is hand-cut daily and broiled to perfection. But their attention to quality goes beyond just the steaks with milk-fed veal chops, fresh seafood and Caesar salads prepared tableside. Begin with the Caesar, the creamy seafood bisque or some oysters on the half shell, then proceed to their signature center cut filet (six, eight or 12 ounces). Entrees come with sides like loaded potatoes, creamed spinach and sauteed mushrooms. Wine offerings are anything but modest, with everything from inexpensive house wines to Opus One. -- Erica Hinton

We drove to north Raleigh tonight for dinner at Prime Only. Two couples. Although we enjoyed the evening we would not return. Their signature Filet steak was as advertised. It was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Good flavor. 6 oz filet was $22.00. This included choice of potato and vegetable medely. The rib eye (16oz for $27.00) was nothing to brag about. Not any better than at Outback. Unfortunately their current sanitation grade was 91 (89 +2 for education). I checked after getting home and the grades prior to this was 92.5 and 91.5). Not a good sign of management's concern for sanitation grades.
Overall not one of Raleigh's better steak houses and a long drive from Johnston County. We crossed this one off our list.

    Hands down on this

We went for a christmas party and the service was not good. It was an 5 hour dinner for service taking orders until we receive our check.
Then it cost over $100 for the two of us!
I could make a better steak than that.
Will not return and to far to go and very expensive!!

I've heard really good things about The Peddler Steakhouse up in Oak Park (off Glenwood Avenue up the hill from Crabtree headed towards the airport). We used to go to Carvers Creek for a special night out but the last time we were there we had horrible service! We specifically asked the server not to rush us and not only did he bring one thing right after another before we were finished, he even moved our food we were eating while we were eating to make room for the next course. When we complained to a manager, she just said the kitchen needed to push the food out . Anyways, based on what we have heard I think we will try The Peddler next time.
