I am looking to have a few rooms painted in my house and I'm looking for a reasonably priced company to do the job. Any suggestions? Ideally I'd love to have 4 rooms painted (kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms), but if I can't afford all four, I'll be fine with breaking up the project. I am extremely anal and it is a new house, so I don't want any mistakes! I'm so picky! Suggestions?! Pleaseee

It's one heck of a work out. Just painted both my boys rooms over the weekend and my legs are still sore. Specail note....... DON"T PAINT RED! It was so difficult to do! Needs many coats to cover streaks!
I love to paint and redecorate. I did our entire place at the beach (which included wall paper removal) and I am almost done with the house here. I get great satisfaction out of it.
I love it too. HGTV and DIY are my favorite shows... I watch them like some do the Soaps. We have the kitchen, master bedroom and laundry room still left to paint. We are trying to get everything painted before we get hardwood floors put in. We just got our house this past April and ALL the rooms were white...... I couldn't take it, so I had to paint!
My kitchen is painted red and I LOVE IT! But I agree, it is a hard color to get even. But in my kitchen there isn't any full wall space, so it wasn't too bad. Did you use a colored primer first?
I painted both the girls rooms, the dining room and the living room. Our bedroom needs to be painted badly, but there is so much stuff in there to move!!!
We do too - luv those shows! Sounds like my house - and we have painted every room now - some more than once....:?
Ilove home improvement. I have 3 rooms left to paint and the foyer, which I will have to hire out because of the kooky angles and heights up the stairs...and then next is cabinets and countertops (we got all new appliances last year), THEN flooring in the kitchen and foyer....then it'll be time to start all over again.
I asked the guy at Lowes if I needed tinted primer and he said no.....so I used white Kiltz primer....... I thought I should have used a red tinted primer. My son wanted his room painted NC State red.....BLAH I don't have to go in there too often, so its OK. It took several coats, but it does look good to be NC State red.
