Who: The City of Raleigh and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), responsible for transportation planning in WakeCounty and parts of Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston counties, are seeking your involvement.
Why: We are developing a multi-countyCoordinated Public Transportation - Human Services Transportation Plan to guide investments of new federal dollars to provide “Job Access” for low-income residents, and “New Freedom” for older adults and persons with disabilities.

Please RSVP by Friday, November 2nd to Erik Landfried of the Triangle Transit Authority at elandfried@rideTTA.org or 919-485-7508.

Part of the discussion will cover using the bus to get to and from jobs in Raleigh and in reverse shopping and access to Cleveland’s growing professional community. If a company currently issues free bus passes for TTA, it is expected that the employees will be able to ride this bus for free – state employees. This can reduce or eliminate travel and parking costs from some budgets. If the proposal for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ GreenBuilding does pass with reduced parking spaces, this will save facing the unknown each morning. Plan for the future get your representative to the meeting or get your comments in before November 2.
