Proposed Future Changes at NC42 and NC55 east of Fuquay

I tried to annotate to make it easier to understand. But this would fix the horrible intersection of NC42 and NC55. And if traveling to Fuquay or Holly Springs from 40/42, it should decrease travel time.

The orange is existing roadway upgraded. Yellow is new roadway. Grey is unchanged roadway. I added X's where they will be removing roadway.

looks like a decent plan, all but the 2031-start date.

 

are they still working on 401 bypass around FV? i see signs in yards saying to not do it.

 

Still not going to help me when I have to drive in the dark all thy way down 42 to get to Rex in Holly Springs
