Yea the Publix in Cary is now open http://www.wral.com/grand-opening-of-cary-publix-on-wednesday-milk-deal-/14118050/ I know where I am going tomorrow
Place was a madhouse yesterday. Had to drive by it to get to work, had 2 wreaks at different points, plus a line to get in (of cars, no idea on people). I think Ill wait a week. I go by most days to get to work.
Publix in Wake Forest Well looks like Publix is going to open a store in Wake forest now http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle...x-developer-grocery-heritage-wake-forest.html
Nothing really! Think of it like a much bigger combination Harris Teeter/Fresh Market with Lowes Foods pricing. Big, clean stores but nothing I am willing to drive to Cary or Wake Forest for.
Aversboro and Timber DR http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/news/2014/02/21/aldi-to-open-new-garner-store.html
So Rocky how was it? Everything you've been wanting? You feel about Publix, the way we feel about Wegman's. Glad your wish came true, almost (I don't think we will see either of these in Johnston county)
It was everything I wanted but still they did not carry the Seagram's Raspberry Ginger Ale. I asked the coke guy (coke distributes Seagrams) and he said their distributorship doesn't carry it. But a lot of times if you go to the customer service desk at Publix they can special order it for you. I think the closest we will see of Publix is Cary and Raleigh. It would be nice to see them even come out to Garner. For me what would be a dream come true is where McLemore Road meets Cleveland school road, add a traffic light there and that big open farm (where the old yellow house is) have a shopping plaza with a Publix, Harris Teeter or Whole foods as the anchor store.
Oh speaking about that area, has anyone shopped at "Earthworks"? We keep saying we are going to go over there and then forget, until we pass by it again. How are the prices and quality of plants?
Haven't been to the one on Cleveland, but I did get a fig tree from their Raleigh Farmers' Market location - good quality and couldn't beat the price.
