Wow! Did not know there were locals on show

My husband and son watched this last night on TV. My son is only seven and enjoys watching shows like this with his daddy. I would not put it past them to try this with our left over pumpkins!!!

G105 does something similar to this every year!! I guess we will be going to it next year.

    Thanks for sharing!

I like to use our leftover pumpkins as a safety lesson for our son. I conveyed the similarity of size and weight of one of our pumpkins to our son's head. I held it at head height and to demonstrate the importance of wearing a bicycle helmet, I dropped it to the concrete. The drop created about a 8 inch split in the pumpkin. Then we proceeded to bash the others freely...which is great guy thing to do for father and son.

One year, I put the pumpkin under the wheel of my truck and mashed it flat to show the damage a that a motor vehicle can do to something as thick as a pumpkin.

We use ours as target practice on Thanksgiving day. :)
The boys enjoy shooting and it is a good lesson in the power of guns.
