I'm a coupon clipper newbie and I need your help. I learned several way to save $$$ by using coupon, but there is one I'm a little confused:

I have a coupon for Trident Xtra Care chewing gum packets - buy one get one free. Can I use TWO same coupon to get TWO free chewing gum packets? It says up to $1.49 and I'm aware that Walmart is selling it for $1.28.

One more question: are there any stores that accept double and/or triple coupon?

First, there's a forum on this site called Money Matters that's dedicated to this sort of topic. Couponing was a BIG topic on here, so they created a section of the board just for it.

For buy-one-get-one-free coupons, you have to buy one to get one free. If you have two coupons, you'll need to buy two, and then you'll get two free.

Now, to make it a little more confusing, if a store is having a buy-one-get-one-free SALE on that same item, you can sometimes use a BOGO coupon and get them BOTH for free. But, some stores won't let you do that. If memory serves me correctly, that situation would work at Harris Teeter and Lowe's Foods, but not at Walgreens. Your mileage may vary, however.

Locally, Harris Teeter and Lowe's Foods double coupons up to 99 cents every day (up to 20 coupons per day, though they don't seem to mind if you make multiple visits). Every once in a while, they triple coupons for a few days. Coincidentally, HT will be tripling this coming Thursday thru Saturday. There's already a thread about that on the other forum. See you there!

Thank you very, very much, JTM! I will check it there. I didn't know about the coupon section here. I'm heading to there now. :) Many thanks! :) :) :)
