ok, I got a new roommate! That is the good thing..now he is the problem and this is only day one..she has a small dog, sweet as can be..she is fixed as well..now I have my two pug girls and they are fixed as well. Well, the new roommate was not here when I got home, but I knew her dog was in her room so I went and got her and OMG, my dogs went nuts, barking and everything, just scared her to dealth. I was like man pugs aren't aggressvie dogs. Now Josie (3 years Old) I have had since she was a baby, and Lucy I got last summer and she is 4 years old. Now it was ok at first when I brought Lucy home, not the kind of thing I saw earlier with the other dog, but my Josie was food aggressive and it did take a good month before I could feed them together. Now I'm not sure how this is going to work out, but man I really have never seen my dogs like that..so what is the best safe way for me and the new roommate to get this to work? I need a roommate and she is great, hate to think that the dogs may not ever get along. Should I do one at a time, so they don't gain up on her? Please any tips are welcomed.

    Call Cesar Milan!

Actually what he would say is this...

When you open the door your dogs don't need to be staring her dog in the face, when they look at each other that can cause some tension and a fight! Take your 2 dogs in one had on a leash on one side of you for a walk and her dog on your other side for a walk. That way YOU are pack leader and they have to behave or else! They need to smell each other and the more aggressive one MUST become submissve! Do NOT let your dog the more aggressive one smell him/her first.

Well, I will try something like that, heck my dogs were not so much fighting but they were out of control tonight and she wasn't even in the room. The roommates dog is not aggressive, I'm not sure which one of mine will be the more aggressive one..I'm not looking foward to this at all..wasn't expecting it either. Both of my dogs have done fine in others homes, but I guess it's differant when it's their own.
