YES! Will the cigerette tax hike starting today deter smokers from smoking? In NY its up to $9 a pack, $90 a carton, $400 a month if you smoke a carton a week, thats crazy

The bowling was SMOKE FREE on MONDAY when we went w/ DS. Yahooooo!!! It was so much cleaner! Packed w/ kids but Smoke Free!
Glad to hear it! We won't take the kids anyplace that allows smoking, even if they have a non-smoking section, so this adds one place to where we're willing to go for family outings. Luckily the weather is getting nicer, so we can do more of the outside stuff, where we can just walk far away from the smokers.

I hate cigarette smoke, and I always take a shower and wash my clothes as soon as I get home from somewhere like Rainbow Lanes ...BUT I have a huge problem with government dictating personal responsibility and common courtesy. How long before they outlaw alcohol and fried foods?
