Forgive me as I know this question has been posted before... Where is the best/closest place to buy Rainbows? My DD has announced that she needs a new pair. The first pair we bought came from a local tanning salon that sold Rainbows at a pretty good price. Unfortunately, this place is gone and I'm searching for the best price/best place. They must have really gone up in the last couple of years since we purchased a pair. We bought our last pair at the beach and the price was a lot less than what I've seen here lately. They are pretty much the same price no matter where you get them. I buy from DeWayne's in Smithfield or Libby's in Benson or Jernigan's in Dunn. You can also get them at the malls. I'm sure there are tanning salons in the area that have them too.
I just went through the same thing and ended up getting them at DeWaynes as well. They had the best selection in styles and sizes and were the same cost as pretty much everywhere else I checked.
I was gonna buy myself a pair of them but I'll be danged if I can justify $55 for a pair of FLIP FLOPS.
I've seen several posts on craigslist for new rainbows on the cheap, but not lately. And if your wonderin why I know what these are... better off to not ask. Younguns thinkin they should wear flip-flops that are 1/4 of the cost of lot rent.

i'll stick to my $2 - $5 flipflops and hey, don't tell me it is worth it cause they last so long, i can buy a new pair every year still cheaper than one pair of those:lol::lol:
My favorite pair of flops came from Target last year . . . on clearance for $2.48. Wish I had bought more than just one pair.
Doublewide... ah, now that's fancy livin. Man, I aint heard that song in a while. Think I might download it right now!
I finally broke down and bought a pair of Rainbows (I LOVE them) I paid $35 for the Riviera ones at the Carharrt outlet in Smithfield.
The Carhartt outlet in Smithfield (next to JR's off 95) has a big selection and I think their prices are good.
I said the same thing until I actually got a pair for my birthday. I now wear them everyday. I have 2 pairs and switch between the 2. My friends chiropractor actually told her that in order to keep wearing flip flops, she would have to buy the double layer sole rainbows. They have great support. I have gotten more than my $50 per pair out of my rainbows.
There is a lot to be said for comfort. I have two pair of the double layer sole Rainbows and I wear them ALL the time!! I never thought I would pay that much for flip-flops either but my best friend got me a pair for my b-day and they wore so great I bought another pair in a different color!
