Looks strange because the kids only 11 and maybe weighs 100 lbs and the hog is just so massive.

 

I have seen it on a number of news organization sites and although the picture is somewhat staged (depth perception) it is a legitimate picture. Either that or their are going to be a lot of red faces in the next couple of weeks.

I read somewhere that they are mounting the head and they said it had a 54" neck. They also expect to make somewhere between 500 to 700 pounds of sausage.

 

Turns out the picture was legit but almost everything else was a fraud.
