I tried to do a search for any previous threads - no luck. I need to get my brakes checked and possibly get the brake pads replaced. Also need a tune-up. I am trying to find a place that can get me in on a Saturday (preferably) and at a reasonable price. Thanks, in advance, for the info.
I just had this done not too long ago. I didn't have any immediate problems with my car, it had just tripped 100,000 miles and needed a good tune up. I asked for recommendations on a thread up here and ended up going with Quality Auto Service beside the Bojangles. They had the best prices, and David was great! I had them tell me everything that was wrong with my car, and then I decided what I wanted to do. They were not pushy or anything of the sort. Call David at Quality Auto Service, 771-2269.
DH tried TAC a new shop on Cleveland School Rd between 42 and Shiloh. He thought they did a good job for good price. Ro
Crossroads Automotive Very nice people and HONEST!! That counts for a whole lot in my book!!! Give them a call. They are off hwy 210 behind the mcdonalds and the credit union.
I went to TAG last week for a new belt. They charged me less than all the other places I called and Ken was so nice to me. I highly recommend them.
If you want to ask one more person, I take all my stuff to Lewis tire downtown Clayton, Jason does all my stuff and about 80% of all my friends as well. Very nice and very reasonable. Stands up for his work!!
I give another thumbs up to TAG. They did an oil change and tire rotation for me. I will need new brakes too here soon and that is where I plan to go. Good Luck!
EXPRESS AUTO CARE EXPRESS AUTO CARE - (he will come to where your vehicle is & fix it) Craig Bullock ASE master certified (919)369-3727 mobile (919)567-0751 office MOBILE SERVICES Engine diagnostics timing belts a/c service tune-ups brakes etc This guy is fantastic. We have used him for years and never had a complaint. He comes out to the house and works on my van so I don't even have to make time to take it somewhere. Once, I broke down far from the house and parked the van in a parking lot. He went to the van and fixed it so I didn't need to tow it. Usually gets to the job pretty fast too. Kind of a quiet guy, but honest and reasonable. He is a Christian. Has Matthew 6:33 printed on his business card. Craig has a trailer he pulls behind his truck with all his tools, etc. Just sets up in front of my house and takes care of the problem and I write him a check. Works out great for us.
