We have a small in-home business. Our sales and expenses increased this year, so I would like to consult an accountant about taxes. Do you have a recommendation for someone who is good? He/she would have to be patient with me- I know nothing about keeping books, etc. Thanks in advance.

We used an "accountant" before now use a "real" CPA! Trust me it's worth the extra few bucks. I do data entry into QB which at the end of the year saves me lots of $$ not having to pay the CPA. The only thing I have my CPA do is our Quarterly Taxes and year end taxes for 2 Businesses and our personal returns. Local CPA We have used Mr. Pittman for our personal taxes and found him to be patient and thorough. I had a small business in another state and used an enrolled agent to handle all of the business related taxes, they did a geat job.
