I cant do it. I gave blood for my own operation and it made me weak and sick for a week. Had to take Iron pills. It was horrible.

Maybe I can try again, but I dont know what or how yall do it without feeling bad..

Maybe it is just me.

 

They should have checked you for anemia before hand. I would suggest you take iron pills before to prepare. Also, eat and drink plenty of fluids afterwards. You also need to follow their guidelines of what you can and can't do the day of.

It always makes me feel better afterwards. Kinda like cleaning out my blood.

 

Due to the timing of some of my overseas service I'm unable to donate blood.

I love giving blood and just thinking that could save a life but i have had tattoos in the last year so that counts me out
