My little dachshund has recently developed some redness in one eye,in the inside bottom corner.It does not seem to bother her but there is some discharge coming from the eye.I read up on it online, about the various possibilities.Read about something called cherry eye. It also could be caused by allergies though. It looks a little better today than it did yesterday but still.. I'm also wondering if it could be from her hanging her head out the window the other day :? Has anyone else ever noticed something similar in their dog? Thanks!
Our basset pup has slightly bloodshot eyes, but I guess its a normal trait of the breed. Its more prominent with his droopy lids beginning to develop.
our kitten had the same thing and we took him to vet last wed. he is on antibiotic and has eye cream.i dont know about dogs but in cats they can get ulcer and go blind if not treated.he has herpes but i dont know if dogs get it.
