I need recommendations for refrigerator repairs in the Benson area. Not sure if I need to try to get mine fixed or just buy a new one. It's just not cooling very well and will not keep stuff frozen in the freezer side. I have no idea who to call to ask about it.
Look on the internet. It may be something you can fix yourself. We have a part for ours coming today. The freezer side was working fine but the refrigerator side wasn't cold. I took apart the whole freezer side and found that it wasn't defrosting. The cold air was being blocked from getting into the fridge. I defrosted it with a hairdryer and put it all back together. It worked fine for about two weeks then started to fail again. There is a defrost part in the fridge side that needs to be replaced. It shouldn't take more than 10 min. to do. The part cost 60.00. Our fridge is only 7 years old.
