Remember the day...

    ...when those who committed dangerous crimes as a result of mental illness were committed to secure mental wards and were not allowed to mingle with and endanger the public?

    This is just wrong. This kid needs to be secured somewhere. If he's okay enough to not require committal to a mental facility...then he needs to be spending time in jail or prison...not walking around with the rest of the population.

    So when's he really going to hurt someone? :roll:

    All I can say is he better be on meds and be foreced to take them!

    I hope somebody is at least checking to make sure he takes his meds. Too often, mental health patients decide they are "all better" and stop their medication and treatment.

    Hi all,

    Yes, I think he should be locked up in some mental ward. My second thought is back in the day they actually had mental wards!! It seems this day and age mental health (serious mental health) is taking a back seat and they are closing the large facilities to house and help these people!!! (i.e. dorthea dix)
