replacement windows

    I am considering replacing my windows, any suggestions on reputable places to deal with?

    We had called Champion and there prices were HIGH!!
    My Husband installed them himself. I think he bought them at Lowes.

    you really have to do some homework.
    i was in the building material supply business 21 years and there are all types of windows. Why do you want to replace? Are they drafty, inefficient? What do you expect out of new windows? Talk to several sales people. They each have their own take. I don't want to confuse you but I hate to see you throw away good money when you could have gotten something just as good for less money. You can pm me and i can talk to you on the phone and give you some insight from a non sales person point of view.

    I have emailed Aluminum Co of NC. My house is 17 yrs old with the original drafty wooden windows. I am hoping to replace them with vinyl windows.

    our home was 10 years old and that is exactly what we did. They were fast, nice and quality work. :) good luck!
