I just took down my old storm door and I am going to put up a new one this weekend. The old was never really hung right in the first place, and some screw holes are a bit raggedy. I don't know a thing about storm doors and if they are universal where they are attached, or if you need to drill new holes, etc. That said, I am pretty sure I need to putty over the old holes anyway since I am going to paint the trim and hang a new door so my question is... what kind of putty do I get?
You wnat the wood putty that hardens up just in case you need to drill new holes. The new door should have a template in the package for making the screw holes I would think.

We bought a storm door last year at Lowe's and they had a special on labor. It was nice to have them install the door! I think they run those specials throughout the year.
They're not that hard to install. The directions that come with 'em make it fairly easy if you have a half way decent amount of skill. I've put up 2 at my house and they went fine. Mike
