whooops, told you I didnt get a good look!!:oops::oops: Where is the ducking and running picture? The shelter said neutered male, so.... and he is so fluffy down there... or she I mean??

You can buy a voucher at http://www.spcawake.org/site/PageServer?pagename=Spay_Neuter_mainpage for $56. Lots of local vets take them and you dont have to pay for anything extra. (Even if they try to talk you into it) unless SHE is in heat... bring the rabies certificate with you.

Do you have anything that says she got her shot? I dont remember.

It can drive you crazy! When DH was in the AF and we lived in base housing, our lovely neighbors went away for a few days and left their Siamese, female cat behind...................while she was in heat. Base housing's walls are paper thin. I was ready to HURT someone by the time they came back. :banghead:

    OOPS! ROFL

We had that same problem once upon a time... we adopted brother and sister kittens, DH wanted a black short-haired male cat, and I wanted a long-haired female. Well we found someone giving away free kittens and the litter had both, and all black.. they were beautiful. He got his, and I got mine. A few months later... i noticed while holding my little "girl" like a baby and rubbing her tummy... that there were some extra little tufts of fur down there!! I could've cried... and then we found out about the same time that DH's supposed boy, was a girl... luckily their names were not gender specific.

    It's a BOY!

I look all over the net, all over the cat (kitty, sorry 'bout that) made the spay appt then went to the vet to be sure. My little boy that might have been a girl really is a boy. YAY for boys! .. neutered boys.. LOL

LOL, I was wondering how you got the two confused...LOL

Maybe there is a female around you that is in heat and that's why he is acting crazy...

:cheers:Congrats on your BOY - Now ya don't have to change his name.

Funny side note: A client had a cat I met about a year after they had gotten it. They found her when she was about 6 months old - put flyers with the kitties photo all around and called shelters with description etc and no owner came forward. . .The kitty is orange and white - usually orange cats are male ( 99% are - like calico and torti are more than 99% female- orange and white still stands a great chance of being male). . .but if you aren't a real cat person, you might not be aware of that. . .ANYWAY - they told me that originally they named the kitty Amelia, and when they took her to the vet to have her spayed and were told that she was a neutered He. . .so now his name is Emillio.

I did not know that. Knew about calico/torti, but did not know about orange & white. Hmmm, now that I think about it, every orange & white tabby cat I've ever had or known has been a male. Ya learn something every day! :)

That is hilarious! So glad it worked out for you, and didn't even cost you more than an office call!

And I know this picture has nothing to do with anything, I just think it's adorable.
