All Schools, School Offices To Close June 15 All offices and schools of the Johnston County Schools system will be closed on Monday, June 15. This will enable employees, regardless of employment status for next year, to receive eight furlough hours as compensation for the 0.5 percent reduction in their salaries, according to Public Information Officer Terri Sessoms. Superintendent Dr. Ed Croom apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to the general public.
