Does anybody know where to find the school district map? It use to be posted on JCS website and now I can't find it. I know one tiem we had it here somewhere an dIca n't find it here anymore either. I know that I can call on Tuesday, but I wanted to look at it online so I was just asking if anyone knows if it is still available to be viewed online. Thanks so much and Happy New Year!

They took it off the site soon after the redistricting(?) took place. I'd love to see the new one too.

I never looked at the map before but I hope this is what you are looking for. To me it was in an odd place if this is th right one. My computer isn't new but neither is it a dinosaur and I ran out of memory trying to increase the size of the pdf. Good luck and Happy New Year.

I think the link is for the old lines-from last year. Some of the districts may be right-some not esp. for elementary schools. They need to have some feature where you can plug in an address and up comes your school districts on the web. I know I have looked for houses for sale around an area that I want to know the school district then go online to local MLS to see what schools those houses are listed for.

It was up there last month. I pulled the calendar and the map was there...musical maps now?

Call the # on the website & tell the Super's office his constituents want the current map back on the website...

Here is one way to check

Do not know how often they update it, but one way to type in an address and then find your school district is through GIS. I always go through http://www.johnstonnc.com/ and then click on GIS. Click on mapclick and then prepare to spend several hours playing. Sometimes it is scary what you can find. However it is all public records and as a citizen we are entitled to it
