SMITHFIELD-- The Johnston County Board of Education will hear each of the 35 schools' School Improvement plans on September 23, 29, 30, and October 6. Each of the meetings start at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Board of Education building. The purpose of the presentations is to share information and answer questions about academic programming as well as safe and orderly school plans. School presentations are scheduled as follows: September 23: Cleveland Elementary, Cleveland Middle, Cooper Elementary, East Clayton Elementary, McGee's Elementary, McGee's Middle, Polenta Elementary, South Johnston High School, and West Johnston High School. September 29: Corinth-Holders, River Dell, Riverwood Elementary, Riverwood Middle, Selma Elementary, Selma Middle, Smithfield-Selma High, South Campus. September 30: Benson Elementary, Benson Middle, Clayton High, Clayton Middle, Four Oaks Elementary, Four Oaks Middle, Meadow, South Smithfield Elementary, and West Clayton Elementary. October 6: Glendale-Kenly Elementary, Micro-Pine Level Elementary, North Johnston High, North Johnston Middle, Princeton, Smithfield Middle, West Smithfield Elementary, and Wilson's Mills Elementary.
