A red, late model pick up caused an accident this morning by running a red light. It hit a White Chevy Impala and took off the cars grill and front bumper as well as put a dent in the fender. The Clayton Police Department is looking for this person. My husband was driving that Impala...he is ok. This occurred at about 6:05 am at the corner of Lombard Street and Main Street. The truck was driving on Main Street and after hitting the Impala continued to head towards 70. Please contact the Clayton PD at 919-553-4611. or me Thank God my hubby is ok. This could have been a lot worse. It all happened so fast he does not know anything about the driver.
