Can anyone help me to find or point me in the direction to locate local seniors group or community center near the Cleveland area?

    Thanks,

I know there's a Senior Center on Barber Mill Rd., just off Hwy 42, and another on Hwy 210 west of 50, going toward Angier. You could check with the Council on Aging.

Most local churches have senior groups too.

Ours meets once a month in the daytime.

    PM me for details.

Clayton Parks & Rec has a large number of Senior sports programs. DGD & SGM are all about Shuffleboard & Bocce Ball!

We go to the one above for items for my mother. They are wonderful and will have information on all areas.

If you're close to Garner, the Sr. Center there is great! It's a recreation center for adults 55 and older. Of course, all participants have to be independent as they provide no personal care services... PM me if you want more information :)

Some of the nicest folks I've met were at the Garner Senior Center!

What a kind thing to say... I bet those people (or at least the one in the office on the left when you come in) really appreciate you saying that!!
