We need our septic tank pumped out. Any recommendations? Also, about how much does it cost? Thanks, Pat

I used Kleb's the last time I had mine done. $275 fairly close to average.

I know many people that use them, I have used them twice. They do a nice inspection when they pump it and explain everything very well. Great job, A+ service.

We have always used Hardee's. I think it is about $250.

This might be a stupid question, but how did they find the tank? How did they know where to dig? Did you already know exactly where it was or did they figure it out somehow?

They found it. My husband had an idea but found out he was way off. The guy that came knew his stuff.

Mine was easy... he just looked for the muddy spot where the dogs was laying.

If you call the county (Environmental Health dept) they will come out & located it for you. Its approx $35.

You can also call Environmental Health and request a copy of the original septic permit which will typically have a drawing of where the septic is located.

We won't use anyone other than Hardees. We have two other companies come out before and neither of them cleaned out the second side of our tank.

Hardees came out, found both sides, and has done a great job for us. We've used them ever since. Excellent customer service and explains quite a bit too.
