Does anyone know a good place to take my sewing machine for repairs?
It basically needs a good tuning and cleaning. I have a lot of projects going right now, so it would have to be somewhere with a quick turn around. Also somewhere that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg! Doesn't have to be in the immediate area, willing to go into Raleigh or Cary, as long as they are good.
    Thanks

There used to be a place in Garner in the shopping center where Winn Dixie used to be (near Wal-Mart).

Try Archie Johnson and Sons on Lake Wheeler Rd. 833-2791. Not sue about the price.

I have a coupon from today's paper for 50% off a tune up on your sewing machine from Sewing Solutions (116 Kilmayne Drive in Cary).

PM me if you want the coupon. It's good for the month of September only.

    Thanks Michelle.

I actually dropped it off yesterday at Carolina Sew 'n Vac. Got a lot of recommendations for them from some friends. $89.00 for a complete cleaning and tuning. It is a fairly expensive machine, so that sounded reasonable.

    Thanks again!!
