Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a piece of sheet metal that would cut it to certain dimensions for a home project? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I am not fully schooled in sheet metal gauge, but just a thinner piece is what we need, not thin enough to be easily flexible but not too heavy either. We are going to use double sided velcro tape to hang it on the side of a cabinet to hold magnets. Trying to upload a rough sketch.

You can also get small pieces of sheet metal at Lowes in the hardware section, near the door locks, nuts/bolts, and stuff like that
