Just called Sheetz Headquarters,no they're not building a location there,the only one being build is in Rocky Mount,she never even heard of our neck of the woods,oh well we probably get another Food Lion instead :twisted:
That is very surprising. The person that I spoke to had said that he spoke to someone from the company about a specific property.
Seems like often in larger companies that one department may be unaware of what another department has been instructed to do, and may only become aware of activity when necessary, after details have been worked out and finalized.
If that's the case then there might be hope , seems like that some chain stores we have way too many of around here so it would be nice to get some variety.
that would be nice as it will force the owners of those gas stations to lower their prices. They have been ripping people off for years with their high prices. If it wasn't for Walmart, we would still be paying for high gas at 40/42.
Yes its a Sheetz According to Johnston County Tax records the property is ownder by PTM, LP Address is 5700 Sixth Ave in Altoona PA. Just so happens that is the address for the corporate office of Sheetz, INC. So unless they plan on flipping the property its going to be a Sheetz. SMP
I noticed that within the email which was received from Sheetz it identifies the land location as McGee's Crossroads. There is no McGee's Crossroads, NC. You would identify the land as Benson, NC 27504.
On Monday night the Town of Clayton Planning Board recommended approval of a Sheetz @ Amelia and Hwy 42 to Commissioners.
