Shelters

    Trying to get prepared for the storm. Where will shelters be in the event we need them? I live in the Cleveland area.

    The Johnston County Emergency Operations Center has designated three shelters to be opened on Wednesday, September 12 at 8:00pm. The shelters are:

    North Johnston Middle School
    435 Oil Company Road
    Micro, NC 27555

    Benson Middle School
    1600 North Wall Street
    Benson, NC 27504

    West Johnston High School (Pet Friendly)
    3935 Raleigh Road
    Benson, NC 27504

    My wife heard that Clayton High will also be a shelter, but I don't know where she heard/saw that

    Do you have to book ahead or just show up. if I lose power may leave the cats at home but take my dogs with me to west Johnston
