Need to move a couple refrigerators this weekend. Has anyone had any experience using either of these. Is one easier than the other? Maybe I just need to rent an appliance dolly at the U-Haul?
You better be pretty darn strong to use a shoulder dolly. Your best buy is the Uhaul dolly, we used it before to move our things and its pretty easy. The forearm forklift would be difficult to manuever around inside a house, they are pretty bulky. good luck!
Havent tried either one (own my own fridge dolly), but the over the shoulder fork lift thingy looks cool. Saw two guys walking around with a fridge one time like it was nothing. Most of the time I find it easier just to lift the fridge and forget the dolly. If you cant find 2 strong guys (bribe the neighbors with beer) I might be able to give you a hand with it sometime over the weekend.
