If you have protection from the bankruptcy court in place and a car company repos the car under a technicallity (such as not having proper notification from the court yet), which WILL be resolved and the car WILL be returned, it is NOT a good idea to go on a "search and destroy" mission yourself to get your car back by STEALING IT BACK. While it IS your car, the CRIME you just committed (and in the eyes of the court it is) will not be helpful in the aftermath nor will it guarantee that you now get to keep it. YOU JUST COMMITTED A CRIME....let's be above reproach. Thank you. :banghead:
Yeowch! It's easy to forget that it's not your car (...or house, boat, bike etc.) until the bank gets paid off. It also sounds like there's more to this story- will we be seeing seeing you on 'COPS' soon? I hope not!
