SJHS Students Earn State Honors in FCCLA Conference

    FOUR OAKS-- South Johnston High School students were very successful in
    competition in the state Family, Career, and Community Leaders of
    America (FCCLA) conference held this week.

    Hannah White and Kayla Murray received silver medals in Illustrated
    Talk with their presentation on "financial fitness."

    Mary Angel Diaz received a gold medal in Impromptu Public Speaking.

    Cristina Sanchez received gold, and was first place in the state with
    her presentation on Interpersonal Communications.

    Joanna Tart received gold, and was first place in the state in Job
    Interview.

    Cristina and Joanna will compete and represent North Carolina at the
    National FCCLA Conference to be held in San Diego in July.
