So I ate there last night and the food was decent. I put a stress on decent. Not up to Raleigh standards, but not bad for Clayton. But, what made my mouth drop to the floor was the way the servers were dressed! I felt like I was in a diner. One guy had on a black shirt and pants which wasn't bad. The other 2 had on black pants and mismatched shirts. I'm not up for the whole let your staff wear whatever they want, but OK still I guess. The kicker was this girl (she was either pregnant or had a big belly) who had on tight gray exercise pants, an old white t-shirt you could see her belly through, and tennis shoes. Aren't they going for a classy atmosphere? At first I thought she worked in the kitchen and was just out talking to a table, but then she brought my dinner. This should not be allowed! Once again, a nice restaurant that is poorly managed.
Naturally being in JoCo, the big belly theory normally applies....however, in this case she is pregnant. I go there frequently for lunch and the wait staff is always very polite. But yes, the "uniform" could be better for the atmosphere they are striving for.
