Did Sluggers go out of business? When I went by the other day the sign was stripped bare and checked the Internet site and it was gone.
Probably the land is more valuable for other buisness opportunities or developments. It is happening all over Johnston County. Maybe Disney purchased the property. I keep hearing on 4042 that they are going to build a theme park in the 4042 area.
Hahahhaa...... Disney... As far as I know - it's just winter (Well almost) and this is the slow season for Sluggers. Side Note: We had a Super-Fun good time birthday party there in Sept. - awesome & easy. 2 Thumbs Up.
I hope they are not gone. My family really enjoys Sluggers and the people running the place were always exceptionally nice.
Have always had fun over there. Saw the flag out not too long ago, that means open for that time. Looking forward to going back in warmer weather! Frogger
Hught, the website is completely my fault. I didn't realize that it was time to renew my ownership of the site and I lost it. It will be back up and running by Spring. As for the sign, you will see a new message tomorrow unrelated to my business. The following is a shameless request for prayer requests because I feel very strongly in the power of prayer, even by total strangers. About 3 weeks ago, my wife became sick. First with flu-like symptoms and eventually headaches, extreme fatigue, dizziness, and blurred vision. After 3 trips to the doctor, we decided that we were no longer satisfied that she simply had a virus, so we went to the emergency room. On Sunday, the doctors discovered that she has a brain tumor. Her biopsy is scheduled for tomorrow, but we already know that this is an extremely rare and dangerous brain tumor for someone who is only 28. To avoid too much detail, will you guys all please pray for my wife, our baby girl, and our family. Even if you don't know who we are, say a quick prayer for Julie (Mrs. Lee for you Cleveland Elementary folks.) Thank you all very much for your prayers. Denton Lee III
Sorry to hear that, Denton. She will be in our thoughts (mine and my son's). I'll get him to write her a letter/card to drop off if that's all right. He really thought alot of her last year, and so did I.
