A friend asked me to post this and hope to get further details but for now this is what we have. Small dog, black and tan, size of a minature pincher and/or Daschund, maybe still a young pup. I know there's a big difference between these two breeds but she's at work and her kids are trying their best to describe the dog to her over the phone. I've asked her to have them send me a picture via their cell phones. Found off Cornwallis Road near Wake Co. line where it turns to White Oak Rd. near the neighborhoods, Lee's Plantation, Hillington Estates, Johnson Pond. Has a collar but no name or phone number. Please pm me if you can help find this pups home/owners and I'll forward this to my friend. I'll post more on the pup when she provides more information later this evening.
LOL Your friend's daughter just called and told me about it. I came on here to post the same thing. Although she told me that she thought it might be a min pin & chihuahua mix. I'm waiting on "L" to send me a pic.
Yep, she knows that I frequent this site and could get the word out, seems the only time we get to talk is when something like this pops up, busy lives etc. lol
I got it!!! Here ya go. I hope someone knows who this little baby belongs to. She looks almost identical to my chihuahua.

Thank you so very much for being on the ball Luvgoose!! That ad was the owner of the found dog!! Come to find out, the people who found the dog knew the owners of the dog!! They lived not far from each other. Thanks again!!:hurray::hurray:
I love happy endings!!! I had also sent a reply to the craigs list ad telling them about the post on 4042.com. I'm so glad Buttons will be back home!
