So.... who's going to this? Who's been in the past? Is it worth it? Do I need to bring my purse?

 

We are probably going. I usually go every year and always enjoy it. Not sure who is going to perform.

Make sure you bring your purse......I'll need more money I'm sure. What purse do you think you'll bring so I can be on the lookout of the one to snatch?

I saw where Blackhawk is the featured band this year. Should be a good event.

last year they had a whole parking lot that was full of stuff for the kiddo's. Bouncy houses, etc...

 

Did they have a petting zoo/pony rides or anything of that nature?

 

both usually. and dont forget the pig races!

I personally think the Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville is better.

 

Pig races? Way cool! I didn't see a schedule for events such as those, only music.

SS - I would love to go to the Dogwood Festival, esp to see the Gin Blossoms and Soul Asylum, but it's kind of far for me. That is this weekend BTW.

 

Yeah, once I got into detail on each link it didn't show much other than music. I really thought it had vendors and all.

i think there are too many vendors to list, not to mention they change right up until showtime.

there's a barbecue cookoff, but i'm the one who wins. i get to eat the entries...
