Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow - but you guys need to head this way and we can take both trucks out playing (gotta try out DH's new tires (why oh why do tires cost so much on a 4WD?????).

I watched the 11:00 news last night and Greg Fishel was saying - of course, he said to take it with a grain of salt too - that the computer models were estimating between 6 & 12 inches for this area. Good thing I took it with a grain of salt since that forecast has already been changed. :-(

weather.com is mostly calling for rain with possible snow Sat. evening.

nbc17.com is calling for 1-3 inches with less south of the Triangle.

Johnston Co. does not have a winter storm watch :( Looks like we may get rain and Wake Co. snow.

We really haven't seen snow since 12/26/2004, I know we saw a little in February last year but it didn't last long enough. I'd love to see some. My daughter really hasn't seen snow. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

What I want to know is why anyone in their right mind would bother watching the weather forcast on WRAL to start with. That channel has been wrong so many times that it's not even funny. And not just wrong on the weather (rain/snow) but Greg did so many broadcasts from standing in the fountain from missing the daily temps by 5-10 degrees that he quit making that bet. WTVD, News 14, and Weather.com are where I get my weather from, and they are alot more accurate then WRAL and their bajillion watt doppleganger.

yep, I need to run to the store too for milk...not because of the "storm", but because I need it! Hopefully there's some left at 4 pm today.
