I grew up on the old TV series, my dad was an avid fan and I've seen every episode multiple times, seen all the movies and all of the Next Generation series. (explains a lot, don't it?). Love JJ Abrams, so hoping this movie does the series some justice.

    I'll be first in line.

I've been waiting for this movie since they announced it back in 2006 (and there were rumours at the time that Matt Damon would be playing Kirk)

Well, "good" is subjective, LOL. Finally got around to watching "Twilight" last night and it was NOT my cup of tea. That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back, LOL.

I actually liked "Twilight", surprisingly enough. We watched "Pineapple Express" and I feel like you do about "Twilight". We watched "Max Payne" w/ Mark Wahlberg, pretty intense and surprisingly good.

This coming weekend, we will be watching "The Wrestler" (can't wait) and "Quantum of Solace" (James Bond latest). Very excited about both!

Yep, differernt strokes. Haven't seen Pinapple Express, but doubt I would even rent it much less watch it, not overly fond of that genre, if it's the one I am thinking of. I do want to see "The Wrestler." "Quantum of Solace" was good, just not very much like the traditional Bond movies at all. Saw "Transporter 3" a couple weeks ago (my sister's house, I wouldn't have bothered, but the BIL rented it) it was so awful, you wanted to claw your eyes out after about a 1/2 hour. :ack:
