Anyone have Sprint cell phones? Our cells have been in digital roam since yesterday. What's up with that?

I have a Sprint cell phone but we've not had that problem. Mine goes to Roam when I'm at home but that's normal for wher I live. Go down the road a mile and it's off of Roam. Mine has been working like normal.

Yeah, we're on sprint and ours did that last night too. It happened in areas that were normally not roam so I couldn't figure it out either. I haven't been anywhere today so not sure if it is still happening.

It is the HYBRID phones the ones that can use both sprint / nextel

I finally called them at 8pm last night. The hybrid system went down but they did not know it until I called. The digital roam is just that the phone is roaming They were putting the information into the system. My daughters phone was stuck since she turned it on at 3pm. Other peoples phones started early on in the day. I don't know if it costs more than since the phone is "roaming" but everytime her phone rang & she would try to answer it dropped the call

We use to have the hybrid phone! hated it! Yeah my son called me at 3pm and told me it was doing that. Then when I got in the area after work mine went to D.R.
Yes some people will be charged extra for it. I think it's included in our rate plan. Hopefully we won't b/c our bill is already outrageous!

After the first of the year, Sprint/Nextel is going 'ba-bye' from us....they have lost their minds since they merged together. I will have no part of it.

One thing I do like about Sprint is that they are honest about having shakey service in our area ... if you go to their mobile website and look at the areas of coverage, they show on the map in great detail that at least half of this area is roaming. None of the other providers (that I recall!) have such good and honest detail.
